But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
– Isaiah 41:8-14
It is important to know the abilities and the potentials God has invested in you. It is important that you know what you are carrying inside you – the resources that God has made available for you to fulfill your destiny.
Stop thinking that the resources you need are all placed in your natural family; stop restricting yourself to where you were born. You have another family that has no limitation. Plainly, you belong to a natural family and are entitled to everything in the family that is yours by inheritance. But never forget that you also belong to God’s family into which you were admitted the moment you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Your inward man does not originate from this physical earth. Rather, your inward man is an extension of God, having all the capability, capacity, creativity, and wisdom of God.
Your inward man cannot be limited or stopped because God cannot be limited. Don’t allow people to limit you because of your gender, height, education, skin color or for any reason whatsoever. The people are basing their judgment or assessment of you on the outer container that houses the real you that cannot be seen or limited. If you fail to conduct yourself with the honor and respect you deserve, then others will not regard you either, and you will be relegated to whatever position they have assigned to you in their minds.
The real custodian of your future and your destiny is the Lord God, your maker. If you are diligent in what He has assigned to you, He will distinguish you.
- Pray for the empowerment to be fruitful in all endeavors.
- Pray that you are grounded and rooted in love.
CONFESSION: I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I humbly focus on the task before me and shall not derail.
