Have you ever felt like something is missing even when everything looks okay on the outside? You have a job, a family, maybe even a nice house but deep down, you know there is more. You sense that your life was meant for something greater, but you are not quite sure how to get there. That is because your life is like a house and you have been building it without the Real Plan (Ps. 127:1). You get up every day trying to build your career, your marriage, your future, hoping everything would hold together. But when tough times come, and they always do, something cracks. This is because we have been using the wrong stuff: Our own smart ideas, who we know, how much money we have etc. Those things are not foundations; they are just decorations. God is the Real Builder and He has the Master Plan for your life. He knows where the strong parts need to go but we often ignore what He says and then wonder why things fall apart. It is time to stop using our little hammers and start following His Plan because whatever you build upon would decide if your house stands strong or falls flat.

What are you really leaning on? Your savings? Your job? Your friends? All of that can change within a second. The Only Foundation that can truly carry your life is Divine Wisdom. The world says wisdom means being smart or having a degree but that is not real Wisdom. God's Wisdom is different; it is like a Download from Heaven into your heart. It shows you things that your own brain could never figure out. James 1:5 says “if you need wisdom, just ask God, and He will give it to you freely.” He will not make you feel bad for asking. That is the kind of Father He is and He wants you to succeed. Think about Solomon. He was young and felt like he had no clue what he was doing. But he asked God for Wisdom, and God gave him so much that kings from faraway countries came just to listen to him (1 Kgs. 3:1-14). When you build your home, your work and your character with God's Wisdom, you are not just getting by but you are building something that would last long after you are gone.

The Holy Spirit gives us a special gift called the "Word of Wisdom" (1 Cor. 12:8a). Think of it like a Warning Light that goes off before trouble comes. It helps you see what is ahead and gives you the answer before the problem even shows up. God loves to give Wisdom to anyone who asks with a true heart. Proverbs 3:19-20 tells us that God used Wisdom to build the whole Earth. If Wisdom is that important for the universe, do you not think it matters for your family and your life? And here is something amazing: you are not just building a house; you are God's House (Heb. 3:6). Ephesians 2:19-22 says we are all being built together, with Jesus as the Chief Cornerstone. We are not alone; we are connected to other Christian believers, forming one Big Building where God Almighty Himself lives. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 that God's Spirit actually lives inside you. So, the way you talk, the way you treat your family and the way you do your work all matters because God is living right there with you.

Proverbs 9:1-2 shows Wisdom like a hardworking woman who builds her home and gets everything ready. And James 3:17 says Heavenly Wisdom is Pure, Peaceful, Kind and full of Mercy. That is the Kind of Wisdom that would keep you standing whenever life gets rough. And life will definitely get rough, no doubt about it. But a house built on this Wisdom will not fall because its Foundation is God Himself. When we ask for God's Wisdom every day and actually use it, we are not just building our own success; we are part of something much bigger, something God is building for Eternity. So, do not build blindly anymore. Ask God for His Wisdom, use it and know that your life will stand strong and leave a mark that never fades.
