"But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, Who became to us Wisdom from God [revealing His Plan of Salvation], and Righteousness [making us acceptable to God], and Sanctification [making us Holy and setting us apart for God], and Redemption [providing our Ransom from the penalty for sin] so then, as it is written [in Scripture], “He who boasts and glories, let him boast and glory in the Lord”1 Corinthians 1:30(Amplified Bible)

Have you ever felt like you were walking in circles, trying to figure out a situation but getting nowhere? Maybe it was a difficult decision, a strained relationship or a problem at work that just would not go away. We try so hard to work things out with our own understanding, but sometimes we just seem to hit a brick wall. That is when we realize that human knowledge is not enough. We need something deeper. We need Divine Wisdom. This is not about being smart or having all the answers. It is a Supernatural Insight from God that helps us see things the Way He sees them (Ps. 36:9). It gives us direction whenever we are confused and solutions whenever we are stuck. The Book of Proverbs says, "Wisdom is the Principal Thing; therefore, get Wisdom: and with all thy getting, get Understanding"(Prov. 4:7). And here is the Beautiful Part: This Wisdom is a Gift. James 1:5 promises, "If any of you lacks Wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Our Father does not scold us for not knowing. He simply invites us to ask. Just think of King Solomon. He was young and felt completely too inadequate to lead God's people. But instead of asking for riches or long life, he asked for an Understanding heart (1 Kgs. 3:9). God was so pleased that He gave him Wisdom beyond measure. And Joseph, through God's Wisdom, interpreted Pharaoh's dreams and saved an entire nation from famine (Gen. 41:14-40). That is what Divine Wisdom can do.

Now here is something that should fill our hearts with wonder. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the Embodiment of God's Wisdom. The Apostle Paul tells us that Christ is "the Wisdom of God" (1. Cor. 1:24). That means the Fullness of Divine Understanding dwells in Him (Col. 2:3). We see this in how Jesus handled every challenge. When the Pharisees tried to trap Him with the question of paying taxes to Caesar, He wisely said, "Give back to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's" (Matt. 22:21). With those few words, He avoided their trap and taught a Powerful Lesson. And when they brought a woman caught in adultery, seeking to condemn her, Jesus simply said, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her" (Jn. 8:7). His words disarmed her accusers and offered her a New Beginning. This is the Wisdom we have access to in Christ.

Because Jesus lives in us through the Holy Spirit, we carry this Same Wisdom within us (1 Cor. 1:30). Every day, we face challenges that demand solutions. The Wisdom residing in us equips us to handle them. Think of Nehemiah, who rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem despite fierce opposition. (Neh. 2:17-20; 4:15-20) Think of the Apostles, who were filled with Wisdom to preach boldly and resolve disputes (Acts 6:3; 4:13). That same Wisdom is available to us. It helps us make sound decisions, find creative solutions and honour God in everything we do.

Proverbs 3:13-18 says it beautifully: "Blessed are those who find Wisdom, those who gain Understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Her Ways are Pleasant Ways, and all her Paths are Peace." Wisdom is not optional. It is essential for living a life that honours God. Whenever we seek His Wisdom daily and apply it, we can navigate life with Grace and Confidence. We become lights in a world that needs Godly Insight. Jesus is our Perfect Example. Through His Life, His Teachings and the Holy Spirit within us, we learn how to apply Divine Wisdom. So let us ask, seek and knock, knowing that our Father delights to give Wisdom to His children (Matt. 7:7).

Pray this

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Incredible Treasure of Your Divine Wisdom deposited within us through Christ Jesus. We declare that because He Who is in us is Greater than he who is in the world, we possess all Knowledge. O Lord, we engage the Spirit of Wisdom now, receiving Divine Solutions to every challenge in our lives, our families and our spheres of influence in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.
