Our foundation
Dominion City is a Christ-centered church that holds to the historic beliefs of the Christian faith. Here's what that means, in plain words.
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — our final authority for faith, doctrine and daily living.
God — Father, Son & Holy Spirit
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit — the Holy Trinity.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the full divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God — His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and future return.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. All who repent and believe are forgiven, made new, and adopted into God's family.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and empowers you, gives spiritual gifts, and produces the fruit of a transformed life.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ — a family drawn from every nation, called to worship God, help each other grow, and serve the world.
The Dominion Mandate
We believe God has called His people to take godly dominion — to bring the influence of His Kingdom into every sphere of life, transforming individuals, communities and nations.
